Foreign nationals may obtain visas to enter Taiwan if they hold foreign passports or travel documents valid for more than six months. The official invitation letter will be provided by AOFOG 2028 Registration Office Secretariat upon request.

General Visa Application
Participants who are not eligible for visa-exempt entry or an eVisa should apply for a Taiwan visa through the General Visa Application procedure. Applicants should complete the online visa application form and submit the required documents to the appropriate Republic of China (Taiwan) overseas mission.
Depending on the applicant’s nationality and circumstances, the required documents may include:
- A passport valid for at least six months;
- A completed visa application form;
- An official invitation letter from the conference organizer;
- Proof of accommodation;
- A confirmed return or onward air ticket; and
- Other supporting documents required by the relevant Taiwan overseas mission.
The conference secretariat may provide an official invitation letter upon request to support participants’ visa applications.
Participants are strongly advised to contact the relevant Taiwan overseas mission in advance to confirm the applicable visa requirements for their nationality.
