Dear Distinguished Colleagues, Honored Guests, and Friends,On behalf of the Taiwan Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology (TAOG), it is my great honor and privilege to extend my warmest welcome to you to the 30th Congress of the Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG), which will be held from September 7–10, 2028, at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) in Taipei, Taiwan.
It is a tremendous honor for Taiwan to host this prestigious congress, bringing together distinguished experts, clinicians, scientists, educators, and healthcare professionals from 23 AOFOG member countries and regions. This congress represents not only a scientific gathering but also a celebration of our shared commitment to advancing women’s health through collaboration, innovation, education, and friendship.
The landscape of obstetrics and gynecology is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Breakthroughs in precision medicine, reproductive medicine, maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, artificial intelligence, digital healthcare, and preventive medicine continue to redefine clinical practice. Meanwhile, our region faces significant challenges—including declining birth rates, aging populations, maternal health disparities, and equitable access to high-quality healthcare—which require collective wisdom and international cooperation.
The AOFOG 2028 Congress will feature an outstanding scientific program comprising keynote lectures, plenary sessions, state-of-the-art symposia, live discussions, hands-on workshops, oral and poster presentations, and dedicated sessions for young doctors and researchers.
